1,754 Americans are still listed by DoD as missing and unaccounted for from the Vietnam War, over 450 were at sea/over water losses: Vietnam - 1,345 (VN-479; VS-866); Laos – 346; Cambodia - 56; Peoples Republic of China territorial waters - 7.
